Christopher J. Robinson is an experienced racquet sports professional with an extensive background in coaching, player development, programming, and racquet sports leadership. A former NCAA Division III tennis player and competitive USTA player, Christopher has built his career around helping players of all ages and ability levels develop their skills, confidence, and enjoyment of the game.

Throughout his career, Christopher has coached junior and adult players across private clubs, tennis programs, camps, and racquet facilities. His coaching experience includes junior development, adult programming, private instruction, competitive player development, tournament programming, and the creation of structured player pathways designed to move participants from introductory instruction through competitive play.

Christopher's professional experience includes serving as Head Tennis Professional at The Elkridge Club and Director of Racquets at Cattail Creek Country Club in Maryland. In these leadership positions, his responsibilities extended beyond on-court instruction to include program development, staff leadership, member engagement, event management, budgeting, marketing, and overall racquet sports operations. His experience spans multiple racquet disciplines, including tennis, pickleball, and platform tennis, while also exploring the continued growth of emerging sports such as padel.

Christopher is currently participating in the USTA National Campus Racquet Sports Management Apprenticeship (RSMA) in Orlando, Florida. Selected as one of eight participants from a highly competitive applicant pool, the program combines extensive on-court coaching with advanced study in racquet sports management, financial management, strategic planning, marketing, programming, facility operations, technology, and staff leadership.

As part of his continued professional development, Christopher is applying these principles through the Glenwood Racquets and Golf Club project, a comprehensive racquet sports business and facility-development model. The project integrates strategic programming, junior and adult player pathways, financial planning and zero-based budgeting, pricing strategy, technology, marketing, staff development, performance measurement, member engagement, and long-term facility growth. It also examines the integration and expansion of tennis, pickleball, and padel within a modern multi-racquet facility.

The Glenwood project represents the culmination of Christopher's coaching experience and his developing expertise in racquet sports management—connecting what happens on the court with the operational, financial, and strategic decisions required to build a successful racquet sports organization.

Christopher's coaching and leadership philosophy emphasizes technically sound instruction, purposeful player development, inclusive programming, strong relationships, and creating environments where players can learn, compete, improve, and develop a lifelong connection to racquet sports.
